Welcome to the Whisper of the Inner Voice

Index

Introduction

Welcome, dear readers, to a glimpse into a personal journey that may resonate and enlighten you. My story begins with a simple yet profound interaction with Jewels Johnson, which led to an unexpected opportunity to share my voice in a significant way.

Jewels Johnson's Invitation

After negotiating an advertisement for my book, Seeking a Better Me!, in the dynamic Law of Attraction Magazine, Jewels extended an invitation for me to contribute an article. Overwhelmed with delight, I chuckled, but then, I heard a whisper, "The Time is Now!" This inner voice has guided me for decades, becoming clear only in my fifties. It wasn't silent before; I simply hadn't tuned in.

The Process of Writing

When asked why I wrote my latest book, the answer is straightforward: the Voice dictated it. I show up, take notes, and later, edit and prepare for publication. No plots, no research, just reception. This may sound odd, but it's become an ordinary part of my life—miraculous, yet standard.

Chapter Highlights

In Seeking a Better Me!, Chapter 13 delves into the early stages of becoming attuned to the Voice Within. This chapter shares the mysterious and often overlooked messages that hint at a deeper purpose in our lives.

Becoming a Listener

Despite my initial skepticism and focus on my career as a therapist, repeated messages eventually broke through my stubbornness. This article encourages you to listen closely to your inner messages—ignoring them only delays your growth.

Encouraging Others

This piece is also a call to others who might hear their inner voice, urging them to embrace this gift. The capacity to connect in this profound way is normal and widespread. My path from therapist to Listener to the Silence is a testament to the transformative power of listening.

FAQs

Q: How did you start hearing the Voice Within? A: It began subtly and grew clearer as I matured and became more receptive to the unspoken energies around me.

Q: What does it feel like to receive a book from this inner voice? A: It's a mix of awe and routine. The awe comes with each new book's arrival, a marvel at how these words materialize. The routine is in the process—showing up, listening, and transcribing.

Q: How can others begin to tune into their inner voice? A: Start by creating quiet in your life. Meditation, walking in nature, and moments of solitude can help quiet the external noise and amplify the internal dialogue.

Q: What message would you like to leave your readers with? A: Believe in the importance of your life's messages. They are not mere coincidences but are profound insights meant to guide and shape your journey.

We are constantly looking for ways to be better. There are many books, webinars and podcasts that claim to have the answer.

Unless I take time to check in and find out how I perceive myself, learn ways to do my own self-care and learn to love myself, I’ll keep chasing the illusive “if I just have…”

Claudia guides us to get in touch with ourselves and a simple but profound technique is to pause and intentionally breathe. Yes, it can be that easy!

I am excited for our planet and for humanity that these words and ideas are being shared broadly. I no longer need to imagine this work being done—I see it being done. Hope is realized. Hope is action. The space and place for people in my life is better because I am working daily on the better me. I am grateful for Claudia Helt's work, and each time I tell her that, I see ribbons of gratitude ascending. Thank you, Claudia.

For the next few moments estimate how much time you expend per day checking your screens and devices. If you’re really brave consult your phone setting for your daily average screen time. Now imagine what your world might be like if you devoted a portion of that time to listening within yourself instead. What might you discover? Add to this inner listening, a pen and journal. Now you can record whatever thoughts come through. The process of taking sacred dictation that created Seeking a Better Me is available to you as well. Seeking a Better Me is filled with experiences partnering your inner knowledge with the Divine. This is a guidebook that welcomes you back home to yourself in ways…
